In addition to our client services, TinDragon is a creative studio with two core missions: crafting original stories and inspiring film education.
We love exploring the world around us. We are drawn to stories about artists, craftspeople, engineers, architects, designers, and entrepreneurs. Stories about small businesses, local communities, affordable housing, and pragmatic solutions to the challenges of modern life.
We are passionate about the craft of filmmaking and want to share our passion with others to help aspiring visual storytellers hone their craft.
People are hungry for information and to hear from individuals with distinct perspectives. Video storytelling is a powerful communication tool. We believe stories aren't just for entertainment; art isn't just aesthetics. Stories can help economically power the world.

There are many ways we can collaborate. If you have a project underway and need production support, TinDragon can help.
For example, we recently collaborated with White Light Media on their documentary Record On: Paul Weller. The British production team needed interviews filmed in LA, so we stepped in to provide full production services. Watch the trailer and our Behind-the-Scenes discussion below.
We can also collaborate with you on a project from start to finish. We’ll help develop the concept and partner with you from script to screen.

Educate
One of our favorite parts of being on set is helping new crew members learn the ins and outs of the filmmaking process. Demonstrating how to rig a lighting setup, how to navigate camera menus, and exploring the reasoning behind the framing of a shot.
So, we at TinDragon have taken this passion and built a series of film workshops and lectures.
From demonstrating interview lighting techniques and gimbal operation to advice on how to start a video production business and analyzing classic film scenes, TinDragon offers a variety of workshops and lectures. We have collaborated with Emerson College, Girls in Focus, LightBringer Project, and Pasadena Media to bring film education to the public.
